The Small Hint to Asmodean's Killer

Brandon Sanderson said that there was a small hint in The Gathering Storm to the notorious question of who killed Asmodean. I believe this hint was in the Prologue of tGS, when Graendal thinks to herself on p.36,

"She was confident she knew the plans of every one of the other seven remaining Chosen."

Notice how she thinks, in her internal monologue, "seven remaining Chosen." In past books many of the other Forsaken have been a little unsure about what happened to Asmo, but this seven remark clearly indicates that Graendal knows he's dead for sure. Compare this with her thoughts a little further up the page concerning Sammael - she's certain that he'd been killed by Rand, but Asmo doesn't even cross her mind at all as she lists members of the Forsaken. She's sure he's dead - because she did it.

An even bigger hint is Moridin's praise of her later in the Prologue,
"You strike when wise, but are not afraid of conflict. The Great Lord approves of your initiative."
What initiative is he referring to? Her assassination of the traitor Asmodean on her own, without being commanded to by the Dark One.

Quote of the Day:

"I like him, Lews Therin thought.
Rand started. You don't like anyone!"

-tGS, Ch. 42
